So I started with this antique change table and wanted to make some use of it.....
First I ripped the shelves off so I was just the frame.
Then I sanded off the rough edges and to remove the glue. Then I measured each leg and marked them with a pencil and cut them with a hand saw. This worked well since all I needed to do was turn the piece on its side.
Then I sanded the rough edges of the legs and cut strips if bead board the length of the frame. With a hammer and some small 1" nails I nailed them to the frame. And there it is! A perfect big doll bed for my daughter! Stay tuned to see what happened to the other half!
